On Wednesday, Vice Chairman of the Lien Chieu District People’s Committee Nguyen Huu Thiet inspected a beach section stretching from Da Nang’s Xuan Thieu tourist site to the Nam O Village.

During his inspection, Vice Chairman Thiet discovered that this section has many deep holes and dangerous offshore currents which are very dangerous for swimmers, and they could be life-threatening.  He, therefore, urged local relevant agencies to install 5 danger warnings and No Swimming signs along the section, and to suggest that swimmers only use the public bathing areas.  In addition, another 2 loudspeakers will be installed to warn swimmers about the dangers of swimming along this section.
