Published: January 14, 2016

A video-making contest entitled ‘Viet Nam in My Eyes’ has been launched in Da Nang and other localities nationwide.  The contest is being jointly organised by the Youth Promotion Science and Technology Centre and the Vietnam Visibility Target Company in Ho Chi Minh City.

The contest is open to Vietnamese and foreign organisations and individuals who are living and working in Viet Nam, and contestants must be at least 15 years old.  Prizes, worth 120 million VND in total, will be given to outstanding entrants.

Entries are required to last not more than 7 minutes each, and can be entered under various categories, including short films, reportages and music.  Most importantly, a brief slogan conveying a meaningful message to the community is required to be presented at the end of each clip.  The intention is to raise public awareness about environment protection by praising and encouraging efforts to protect the environment whilst criticising bad habits in society.

Entries must be submitted to the Youth Promotion Science and Technology Centre at 1 Pham Ngoc Thach, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, or via the email address cuocthivietnamtrongmattoi@gmail.com, no later than 30 April.
