Thousands of free meals provided for frontline healthcare workers in the city
The Da Nang Labour Union and Viet Nam's Healthcare Trade Union have jointly launched a ‘20,000 Portions of Free Meals to Support Trade Union Members in Healthcare’ campaign in the city.
The campaign runs from 17 August to 1 September at its first stage. It is expected to provide 20,000 portions of free meals daily for frontline medical workers in the Hoa Vang Field Hospital and the Lung Hospital amid the coronavirus crisis.
The one billion VND campaign is funded by Viet Nam's Healthcare Trade Union.
The Da Nang Labour Union is calling on generous philanthropists across the city to support both cash and in-kind donations in an effort to provide more nutritious and quality meals to frontline medical workers citywide.
Here are some photos about the practical campaign, captured by our reporter Lam Phuong.
