The Da Nang People's Committee has approved work to commemorate a historical site on Trung Son Hill in Hoa Vang District's Hoa Lien Commune.  The site will soon feature a public park, a square and some cultural areas for the community.

Trung Son Village used to be one of Da Nang’s most important revolutionary bases during the 2 resistance wars against the French and the Americans.

In return for carrying out the work, the project’s investors will be allowed to exploit sand on the Hill in accordance with the city’s rules.  They will also have to bear the cost of compensation, site clearance and the relocation of households affected by the project.
