Free piano - violin duet concert to be held in Da Nang on May 14
As reported by the Viet Nam French Institute in Da Nang, on the evening of May 14, this organisation will partner with the Viet Nam Connection Music Festival to organise a classical music night with piano-violin duet performances at the auditorium of the Four Points by Sheraton Danang hotel.
Audiences receive free tickets at the French Institute in Da Nang, 33 Tran Phu.
The show will feature performances of classics by famous composers such as Claude Debussy, Maurice Ravel, Johannes Brahms, Gabriel Fauré and Lili Boulanger in two parts.
In detail, Part 1 includes the following performances: Two Arabesques, L. 66, a pair of arabesques composed for piano; Jeux d'eau and the Four Pieces for Piano Op. 119.
Part 2 consists three songs: Nocturnal, Procession and Sonata written for violin and piano No. 1 in A major, Op.13.
The repertoire will be performed by famous artists from both France and Viet Nam, especially Vincent Adragna and Chuong Vu piano and violin duo.
These are talented artists exceling in these two instruments, promising to bring moments of surprise and emotion to the audience.
The programme is part of a national tour in many provinces and cities. After Da Nang, similar music night shows will be organised in Ha Noi, Da Lat and Ho Chi Minh City.
